GentileSpaghetti No. 12

According to the package, Gentile is artisanal pasta. The spaghetti were long - double length, bent double - and each end was pointed as though extruded and cut on a diagonal. Cooking the pasta produced very starchy water, which I added to the pan with the meat and vegetables. I added some jarred almond and red pepper pesto and leftover homemade eggplant mutabal. The spaghetti were chewy and sweetly bready. I added one minute of cooking time to the 12 minutes and the texture was still al dente.
